This must be a non-negotiable!
You brush your teeth daily, and practice good hygiene (I’m assuming!), yet, when it comes to your overall wellbeing, how do you do at taking care of your needs? I’m going to make another assumption that you are really good at taking care of others and making sure their needs are met, whether that’s your kids, spouse, family members, colleagues, friends, etc., BUT when it comes to taking care of yourself, you tend to fall towards the end of the priority list.
Am I right?
Putting yourself last, on the back-burner, or not even on your own radar is a problem…a HUGE problem. I hear it all of the time, “but that’s so selfish and egotistical to think about myself and my needs.” FALSE!!!! If you do not put on your own oxygen mask first, then how on earth are you going to be able to take care of anyone else?
Stop putting yourself last. You MUST make yourself a priority. It has to be a non-negotiable, just like brushing your teeth. It’s time to say, “Me First!”
