Through admittance comes healing.
As a recovering perfectionist, I do not like to make mistakes. As a recovering perfectionist, I realize mistakes are a given. Mistakes do not equate failure. Mistakes are meant as lessons.
I can look beyond to see what it is I am meant to learn from this mistake, and how can I do it differently moving forward? Now, not only can I admit to making them, but I can also forgive myself for it. Beyond forgiveness, offer kindness.
Tell me, how many times have you made a mistake, and then berated yourself for it? Everyone does it.
“How stupid can I be!”
“What’s wrong with me?”
“I’m such an idiot.”
Now, these are harsh words to utter to yourself, and I’m guessing you rarely say them to others, so why is it okay to talk to yourself in such a manner for making a mistake? It’s not okay!! Berating yourself gets you nowhere, but further down the hole of despair.
When your daughter, son, spouse, partner, parent, etc., makes a mistake, would you offer them kindness? Why is it so difficult then to offer it to yourself? We dig into this and so much more in the Self-Love Revolution Group Program.
That’s my mistake, in case you are wondering…I failed to give you vital information about how important and powerful self-love is. I went on vacation, and wanted to give my community a vacation from my e-mails too, and in doing so, I did not actively promote the value you receive by joining the Self-Love Revolution.
In light of this, I am re-opening enrollment and extending the early bird pricing until Sunday, August 28th at midnight. Don’t delay, join today!!! A community of support is waiting for you to take charge and give back to yourself in a way that will positively impact your life and the lives of those around you.
The Self-Love Revolution is a 6-week group coaching program designed to give you the tools and support you need to put you on the path to radical self-care, love, and appreciation.
Spots are limited, so grab yours today and save $100 when you join at the early bird price.
Here’s to mistakes made and lessons learned!!
