Let’s talk…

This blog post is a bit different in that there is no #HealthTip this week. Instead I thought I would simply share some musings of thoughts that have been running through my mind this week.

Value. Service. Cost.

Answer this, what do you value? I challenge you to take a detailed look at your values and see if you are living from a place of integrity of the things in life you value most.

Do you value your time, your health and wellbeing, your finances, your family? Do you value yourself? Do you approach things from a “what’s in it for me” standpoint or from a “what value can I provide” stance?

“Provide value and be of service.” This is something I live and breathe by every single day and work to create content daily that does exactly this. (Shameless plug to follow me on Instagram and/or Facebook for the daily posts.) Now some days it may not seem as valuable as I do sprinkle in real life moments, but as a general rule, I aim to provide value and to be of service and to also showcase that I am a real person who is far from perfect.

The content is out there, free for the taking. We live in a time where there is an abundance of access to free information, tutorials, products, services, etc. There is so much out there that you can get for free. Why would someone pay for something when they can get it for free? Now, no judgement, because I love a good freebie too! The problem is most people do not value free.

I think that’s worth repeating: most people do not value free. Rightfully so at times though, because a lot of free stuff is simply crap. “You get what you pay for.” Right?!?! How do you communicate the value of something that is free? How do you put a value on free?

In the end, I suppose it comes down to what you do with the information, product, service, etc. Do you see the value in it and/or treat it with the same regard as if you paid for it? When you’ve got “skin in the game” so to speak, then that generally changes how you show up. I see it with my clients time and time again. When they see the value of investing in themselves, then their transformation begins.

Okay…lots of questions swirling in this post and I hope it provides some food for thought as to what your values are and to take a good look to see if you are aligning your life with what you value most.

If you are ready to explore what it would look like to invest in yourself, then I invite you to schedule a complimentary discovery call with me. Yes, I see the irony in offering up a free call, but I guarantee there is value in it!

As always, I would welcome any feedback or thoughts you have on this. Comment below and let me know. I read every single comment because I truly value you and what you have to say.
