#HealthTip of the week: One Thing

It is easy to drop into the land of overwhelm. Endless to-do lists, goals, plans, kids…life! It’s a lot. When you aren’t where you want to be with your health, your business, your job, your life, then everything can seem overwhelming to the point that it paralyzes you from taking any action.

So, what can you do? Doing more is not the answer, as that only adds to the overwhelm, which takes away from you getting closer to where you want to be. In part, the answer is doing less, but it is also about focusing on ONE THING.

Choose one thing and it doesn’t need to be a big thing either. Start small to go big.Instead of looking at the big mountain in front of you and wondering how you are ever going to climb it, simply choose to focus on one thing that will get you moving forward. Look out for the time bandits along the way, because they are there to distract you and take you off course, but if you keep your eyes on this one thing, in this moment, right now, then all you need to do is put one foot in front of the other and consistently move forward. Speed doesn’t matter. Consistent action does.
