Because You’ve Always Done It One Way, Doesn’t Mean It’s Still the “Right” Way…

There are many things you do without realizing you are even doing it, because it is a habit for you, seemingly a sub-conscious one, and is simply the way you operate. This mode of being may have served you to a point, but there are many deeply rooted habits that no longer serve you, and it is time to question if you need to continue operating in this manner.

As times change, and you change, so do your priorities. You have your way of doing things, and it may (or may not!) have worked for you up until now, but there come’s a point when the same way of doing the things you’ve always done no longer work. What I have found is that there is a resistance to change, especially of the things that have been deeply ingrained in you.

Why the resistance to change? Because doing what you’ve always done is easier, it’s safe, and you know what you are going to get. (These are all myths though!) Doing what you’ve always done gets you to where you already are, so if it’s somewhere else you are wanting to be, then it’s time for a change. Change is not something to be feared, but instead celebrated. Change is a good thing. It means you are growing and evolving, and that’s exciting.

If you are feeling stuck, in a rut, or feeling at a loss of how to get to where you want to be, then it is a clear indication that your current mode of operation is no longer serving you, and change is necessary. There are less than two months left of 2018, that’s it! You can commit to change in 2019, or you can start now. The more you resist change, the longer your current state will persist. If you want to know how you can start now, then hit reply and let’s chat.

In other exciting news…

I was featured on the Love Yourself to Happiness Podcast last week (Episode #52), sharing about the work I do to help women create a life they are wildly obsessed with.

It was a great conversation about how putting yourself on your own radar and prioritizing your needs is a necessity for your health, happiness, and overall wellbeing. I would love for you to check it out, give it a listen, and let me know your thoughts! Listen here.

Until next time…allow yourself to embrace change, and open yourself up to new possibilities.

Be well. Love Mel.
